Privacy policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Skin & Brows by Tina ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit tinaassimedicalskincare.com (the "Site") or contact us to book, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a booking or contact form, or text or call us, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, and any details you share about the service you want. If you become a client, we keep a record of your visits and services.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our technology partners automatically collect certain information through cookies, pixels, and similar tools, including your device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, links clicked, and how you reached the Site (for example, from a Facebook or Instagram ad). See Section 3.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- book and confirm your appointments and respond to your messages;
- send you appointment reminders and, if you have opted in, occasional offers and updates;
- run and measure our advertising (including on Facebook and Instagram);
- improve the Site and our services; and
- meet our legal and tax obligations.
3. Cookies, pixels, and advertising technologies
The Site uses cookies and tracking pixels, including the Meta Pixel (from Meta Platforms, Inc., which operates Facebook and Instagram). These tools let us understand how visitors use the Site, measure whether our ads work, and show relevant ads to people who may be interested in our services. Information collected this way may be shared with Meta as described in Section 4.
Your choices. You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of interest-based advertising at aboutads.info/choices and youradchoices.com, and adjust your Facebook ad preferences in your Facebook account settings. Many browsers also send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor as a request to opt out of the "sharing" described below.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as follows:
- Advertising partners. We share limited information (such as a hashed email or phone number, and Site activity captured by the Meta Pixel) with Meta so we can measure our ads and reach people similar to our existing clients. Under California law this may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 6 for how to opt out.
- Service providers. We share information with vendors who run the Site and our operations on our behalf, such as our website and hosting platform (Shopify), our booking and text-messaging providers, and our email provider. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
5. Text messages (SMS)
If you text us or give us your number to book, we may reply by text to confirm your appointment or answer your question. Some replies come from an automated booking assistant. Our text provider helps send them. A real person may also join to help book you. If you opt in to appointment reminders or offers, message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. We honor opt-out requests sent by any reasonable method. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
6. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it;
- request a copy of your personal information;
- request that we delete your personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information; and
- opt out of the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using Section 9. To opt out of "sharing," you can also use a browser that sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, or contact us directly. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
7. Data retention and security
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
